If it is it's been dyed, vicryl is usually white. However, this comment has made me realise that I am surrounded by "model rope" at work and have just pilfered so out of date sutures to add to the model stash!

Re: Dogs of War
Decided on a 1919 Friekorps Service vehicle as something different from the usual British and Soviet vehicle usually depicted.
After some preshading with Tamiya X1 Black, I applied varying shades of Mr Hobby H331 Dark SeaGray. Takom instructions list Mig 910 as the grey to use, but I couldn't get any locally. 331 seems to be a resonable match and with only B&W photos existing of Friekorps vehicles, who is going to prove me wrong

Re: Dogs of War
Decals next. Needs a fair bit of setting solution in places due to large rivets etc plus care not to tear them. Even so, will need a little touch up when dry....
It's a shame the side decals are two seperate pieces as the black from the cross does show through the white skull slightly (Not noticeable in the pics - but certainly there up close with teh naked eye). Will see if they improve once fully dried - otherwise it will need a little extra white paint....
Knocked one of the rear PE guards off - it's in a safe place and just needs gluing back on.

That's the one.
Any recommendations for suitable resin figure(s) to go with this kit?
