Hobby Boss T-26

Post by Vincent Power »

Time for some fun with a quick build. :D I reckon the T-26 is a quirky looking tank, very old world with the turret placed high up on top of the hull.

I had planned to do a bit of a blog on the construction but I got onto a roll and I ended up with this very quickly.

It's not finished yet and some parts are just dry-fitted but you get the idea. :)
More soon ;)

Another rust bucket on a Spanish hillside :?:

Sometimes you get into the "zone" and whoosh its all built

Apart from the 70's build, its not a regular experience at my bench

You could throw in a Pz I Breda for a nice little showdown?

Looking forward to what happen next Vincent ;)

Now now Philipp ;)

Don't be negative, do it like they did in Spain ;)

Get a decent Pz I A, from an Dragon, then remove the lid of the turret, and throw in an Italian Breda AA gun

add a piece of plastic card and its all sewn up :ugeek:

I built the MB Breda with the voyager Breda gun and Eduard PE as my very first build on returning to plastic.

It was also my first attempt with an air brush too, and sadly expired with my first attempt to remove the paint, too strong a solution and it melted

I have all the above and will do it properly, one day

Along with a rusty Pz I, after seeing all your excellent rust work ;)

Have a go, Vincent

Don't go Spanish, go Russian. Looks nice so far.

Didn't something similar happen to your Breda equipped I Philipp? :?
... I still feel sorry for giving this to you as a present, I didn't know it sucked back then...

Old history aside: Very nice work on the T-26! Will it be Soviet or republican Spanish? :?:

Best regards

The turret was unbuildable, so I turned it into that ammo carrier I meant to finish....uh....5 years ago

What did melt was the Porsche turret King Tiger after soaking in turpentine for a night to get rid of the horrible paint job...

As for the T-26, another vote for Spanish service, whatever faction :P
