Thanks for the kind comments guys.

Not much has been done since all the holidays we have been on.

Anyways I have just about finished the figures. I won't paint the boots until everything else is done with the diorama(You can see why with the guy on the right)

After looking at the pic I still have some outlining to do on the middle guys shirt buttons. Besides that they are just about done.

Hi Shawn,

Beautiful figure painting!

You have really nailed the face painting, some of the best i have seen. What are your methods?

Where is Mr. Mathews these days? I haven't seen him around of late?

Correct me if I am wrong but I read somewhere that the the front wheels of this kit is too an narrow and will have to be widen by 1mm each side or they will not line up with the tracks ? Not the wheels but the spindles .

Excellent figures Shawn,

Could you do an SBS when you paint your next heads?

It would be good to see how you get such great results.

Nice ones

I'm here!!!

Agree about the SB Shawn - that is just seriously showing off :D :D Excellent!

You've cracked the eye pupils - Wow Man -Huge respect - talk about dragging the standard up - I'm gonna have to work harder :|

Ed - you are quite right - Terry Ashley points it out - they are noticeably too narrow - I mentioned it in the "Old" blog over on MA.
I'll cover my solution when I get around to returning to the build.

Woody- Very kind my friend, looks like Rob followed the bread crumbs back. This is one great this I love about this site and MA. If we notice someone not being around for awhile questions get asked. I acctually PM Rob a few days ago asking the same question. He did respond to me by the way.

Edmund- As Rob pointed out you are correct. I only extended the axle with a small plastic spacer. Truth be know if you would not have read that most likley you would have not noticed it on the kit.

Steve H.- I will try to do a SBS on my next figure. I can explain the basic ideas but as you know from painting heads so much of it it just requires working with it until you are happy with how it looks. I will get a couple of pics of the books and DVD I have for figure painting. I think you already have them though. Plus I have a cuople of links to videos that I have found useful which I will post as well later today.

Rob- Not dragging the standers up my friend, I have really started to enjoy painting figures. Don't worry I am still going to build armour.
