Love the effect on the tracks Bryan. What’s your process to achieve that?

Re: LL Valentine with 45mm
Adam - Thanks. Here are the steps. It was a little more complicated this time since the tracks were glued in place.Adam Durrant wrote: ↑27 May 2021, 08:56 Love the effect on the tracks Bryan. What’s your process to achieve that?
Very Dark Brown base coat
Enamel Rust wash
Mix a thin slurry of Ammo Splashes Dry Steppe and Light Dust Pigment. Like a thick wash. Apply erratically.
When dry, manipulate as desired with a stiff dry brush or damp brush as needed
Apply a thinned version of Ammo enamel Earth to darken the track face
Apply a center strip of thinned Ammo enamel Damp Earth
Polish tread with Uschi polishing powder Steel.
Thanks Vincent!

Super finish Bryan
Great work on the grime, dust and generally beaten up and well used look

Fully agree with the others! We see far too few dusty vehicles with non-desert camo schemes.
