It would all depend on subject and length of time to complete. I've only taken part in one group build and it's great in the initial stage but once people start completing builds the interest seems to die down which I guess is demoralising for those still plugging away. Trumpys are shorter and fatter than AFVs, I just find AFVs better proportioned. My first Stryker was Trumpeter, all the rest have been AFV Club, I think they are better engineered than Trumpeters. Main reason for kitbashing would be to have all the same size hulls.

I looked into kitbashing the Trumpy M1131 Fist onto an AFV Club hull. Given the dimension differences it'll be a bit of a challenge but I still might give it a go.
