Re: A modified vespa
I must admit I was was a little disappointed, knowing the sort of thing you model I was half expecting a Vespa with a 106mm recoiless rifle in it Great transformation.

Re: Double Blog: Blue Shermans from Lebanon
I'll be honest, I was wondering why you had left the rest in primer and only painted the rust to start with. That blue looks more like grey autoprimer to me, may be just that I was expecting something really blue from the name Looks like a good base for the rust though.

Shame about the sink mark in the breech but it looks good.

Charles,
amazing attention to detail as always and it's so refreshing to see trucks that don't look like they've just rolled out of the showroom. The rolled over one is superb.

Re: M1128 Stryker Mobile Gun System
A weeks worth of progress in one shot here, all the stowage racks are done, all the armour is on, the upper and lower hulls are finally glued together, the back end is finished and I've made a start on the front. http://i611.photobucket.com/albums/tt200/Smith286/DSC_2436.jpg http://i611.photobucket....

Raoul,
if you do want to get a H+S have a look at this shop,

Re: Churchill AVRE Mk IV walkaround
The AVRE was "restored" by members of 32 Armoured Engineer Regt, the descendants of 79th Armoured Division and was done with what they had available. The hull MG is the barrel from an L4A4 LMG(modernised Bren) rather than a Besa.

Re: Latest additions
It was the availability of cleaning kit and spare parts that sold me on H+S, plus i bought it from a friends shop.
