Re: Takom M3 Grant
Thanks Colin. Joe - correct. Onto the side rails. The kit items aren't really useable if you want a realistic looking vehicle TBH. Overscale and full of solid lumps. This is where a PE set would come in handy - but as no one has released anything for this kit yet, I'll have to make my own. I found s...

Love these tanks. Hopefully someone will release a more modern kit at some stage. You are doing an awesome job Adam. Look forward to seeing some more progress.

Scratchbuilt tripod brackets.... https://i.imgur.com/9FQipGQ.jpg The light guards are okay but lack proper detail. Real ones are 3 piece - main hoop and 2 legs. Takom supply the PE so it looks like a single piece. So off with the 'old' legs and on with some new.... https://i.imgur.com/34ynisN.jpg Li...

Re: Takom M3 Grant
Thank you gentlemen :) Kit PE isn't up to the standards of the likes of Voyager - especially the mesh which is, iMHO, awful... https://i.imgur.com/mSkI4TJ.jpg Looks even worse in the flesh. So, I cut out the mesh, leaving the frame, and soldered so other mesh from the spares box... https://i.imgur.c...

Re: Takom M3 Grant
Welcome along guys. Adom - Model Air have them in stock, but be prepared for a challenge if you get one ;) Onto the hull next... I've noted from at least one other build elsewhere that the side sponson bottom plates and slightly bowed downwards which casuses misalignment with the rear panel. My kit ...

Re: "A Minor Complication" - Barbarossa 1941
Nicely done Raoul and good to see it finally completed. Certainly conveys the madness of battle.
Perhaps you could think about putting a couple of small LEDs at the base of the explosion? Would mimic the flash and would reflect nicely in the 'smoke'.
