Re: Medic

Nice update Shawn. The jeep looks good and as usual, your figures inspire me to do better. :) Love it! The detail is superb, you have nailed the textures of the webbing and uniform to bring this to life. Dammit, you've raised to bar for me to aim for!! :D Cheers, Vincent Well done Shawn Me too, I m...

Re: Lidl Oil Paints

Hi
Have you tried the Lidl paints yet?
There are always plenty of other tools at Lidl and Aldi, digital measuring calliper thingy, and cordless ""Dremel"" style drill, very useful.

Re: Kursk Panther

Try the interweb and you tube for visual representations of mapping and when it is represented in other ways. There is usually something somewhere that gives you a good explanation without buying an expensive book. Though doing regular searches both on E-Bay and the interweb can eventually give you ...

Re: 9K33 OSA / SA-8 Gecko Trumpeter 1/35

Thanks for the support Bryan! I recently worked on the interior so I can close the hull. Trumpeter give you plenty of decals to represent the buttons, dials and handles on the technical compartments. Unfortunately most of the parts present a relief which does not allow a perfect fit of the decals. ...

Re: Tamiya T-62

NightShift has changed his approach to weathering/chipping over the past year and it's quicker but just as good as it used to be. I watch Michael RINALDI'S live vids on YouTube and it still seems like Black Magic to me! You have certainly got the best from both worlds with the T-62 Well done Regards...

Re: Tamiya T-62

Hi
The oil render is very much Michael Rindaldi and Adan Wilder has a book focused on modulation.
The "styles" are out there, its just that some high profile modellers are published authors with A-Z guides on their choice of finishing styles.
Lovely work on the T-62

Re: Tamiya T-62

Lovely work on the camo and blending/modulation/oil dot render depending on whose style to are following.
It is certainly a good base for the final washes and weathering.
Nice one
