Your picture is very helpful Philipp, as most drawings show razor-sharp lines painted on the bodywork but looking closely at the application on the truck it's obvious the lines are anything but. I'll try to incorporate that look when I paint the Cruiser. Now I just have to sort out the stripes some...

Thanks for the history lesson Bryan That's some cool stuff, but I guess it had some heavy competition from Gundam and the like when it came out.
How about painting it in the garish colours from the catalogue, but heavily weathered? Would make a for a nice contrast
