The weights are to stop the whole thing toppling over when the bridge is deployed.

A layer of tissue paper soaked in white glue to start with, paint that and then the AK water effects over the top of that. For the wake I plan to use cotton wool, which will help fill the gaps hopefully.

So the paint and decals are on Just needs a coat of floor polish to seal everything in and I can start the weathering.

Looking good though The colours have toned down a lot.

Does it have workable suspension like the AFV Club and later Bronco kits? I'm curious how Tamiya have approached it.
