There are two cylinders which attach either side of the drivers hatch, I drilled them out to the wrong size, big enoug...

Re: Mirage Hobby 1/350 HMS Zinnia
A layer of tissue paper soaked in white glue to start with, paint that and then the AK water effects over the top of that. For the wake I plan to use cotton wool, which will help fill the gaps hopefully.

Chieftain Mk 5 AVLB
https://i.imgur.com/WSGPaR8.jpg I've had this in the stash for quite a few years and not trusted myself to start it, part of the reason I kept pushing for this GB subject was to give me the shove necessary to give it a go. First thing was to cut the Tamiya Chieftain hull down to size and then add w...

Re: Mirage Hobby 1/350 HMS Zinnia
https://i.imgur.com/Lc7d3eP.jpg Lots of lessons learned on this so far. I originally painted the hull without the superstructure, which made it almost impossible to mask so I ended up repainting it. I then went way too far in the construction before painting so masking was difficult and several bit...

Re: M1132 Engineer Squad Vehicle
So the paint and decals are on Just needs a coat of floor polish to seal everything in and I can start the weathering.

Re: Valentine Mk.II/IV
Does it have workable suspension like the AFV Club and later Bronco kits? I'm curious how Tamiya have approached it.
Looks very nice.
