I am still persisting with the black basing paint method with minimal success, I'm afraid. Maybe the next project will be better. :roll: The tri-colour paint scheme is playing havoc with my skill level. The AK primer didn't exactly take to well and when I removed the masking tape the some paint came...

For quite a while now I have been contemplating trying my hand at Black Basing. I'd only heard of this when I came across videos from Doog's Models and became fascinated with the effect and started doing some research. Then I started to try out this technique with terrible results. The thing I found...
