Re: Airbrushing masks
The problem with masks is when you use them over irregular surfaces and delicate PE structures

Need some stronger glue then fella
I understand the issues with using them and to be honest I don't think I would have the patience for them, but thought others might

Agree that they have their uses - but also their limitations. I think stuff like silly putty is a better option - or free hand?

Re: Airbrushing masks
Great Avatar Vlad
The Mxepression guidance is to NOT have a break in the camo pattern over a delicate PE item and to mask them separately with a tape tent.
Otherwise just hand paint the camo over the little delicate bits if it can't be avoided.
They do use the ""panzer putty""" but it doesn't seem to be a real pattern, but I guess it will be useful as an alternative to blue tack, but it quite expensive at £15 a tube, blue tack is usually somewhere in the £1 shop for the usual quid a pop.
I am currently investigating Air Brushing camo patterns and such like,as I am still not 100% happy with my Pz IV D olive over yellow camo pattern, there seems to be too much "splatter" for want of a better phrase.
Regards

Re: Airbrushing masks
Hi Vlad
I have this Product. Used it once. It's expensive and I'm not certain that it offers any advantage over " Silly Putty".
My SWS was masked using this. Any putty will pull off small PE parts. Need to add them after
