Thanks Vlad and Justin.

If I was as good at doing as I was at planning then you wouldn't have long to wait - sadly..............

@ Woody - 1/72. As Vlad says - all the bric a brac is freely available.

@ Vlad- The MTB hulls looks promising. I Love the Harbour Defence Motor Launch - harder superstructure but .......it would be rude not to :)

Here's the proof....

The rear part of the deck with the 3 sections louvers was constructed with several pieces of styrene strip cemented together to make the rectangular openings rather than one single piece with the holes cut out. I find this way you get perfectly square corners. When I get time this evening I'll put together some more pics to show more clearly what I mean.

Gary
That sir is some serious scratch building . Did you have to make a jig to hold the pieces so you can glue them together ?

You saying harbour defence reminds me, I found a source for German flak barges, in 1/72, but the prices were....................... cheeky, to say the least!

Sorry for the tardy reply to this query but I have mislaid the bookmark of the Italian company, but ...... the kits in question are produced by a German company M.G.M models

I cant seem to find a website but I have emailed for details, in the mean time here is the page from the Henk of Holland website which illustrates the range, big page so some scrolling required

Certainly some very tempting products.

* edit* just found the website which they retail through
