Re: The potentially rather long Churchill Blog
Been a long pause with this but with less than 4 weeks left until our show I'm trying to get some of the outstanding projects finished up. MGS is finished so this will be next. One bugbear, I can't seem to find anyone with AFVs workable tracks in stock so I will get as far as I can with this.
The bangalore tubes are quite well thought out but there are some nasty ejector marks on that rear brace. I've filled them and need to leave the filler to dry before I can clean it up. Not much left to do really.

If you ignore the lack of tracks construction is complete.
The launcher tubes are still loose to make painting easier and the tracks are dry fitted so that when I can finally get my hands on some of AFVs workable tracks I can fit them.

Primed and painted in Ammo of Mig SCC2 and very happy with how it looks. I'll get some pictures in daylight tomorrow.

Very nice indeed Chris - certainly an unusual and ungainly looking beast
Do you know when this vehicle was tested?

That looks Fab Chris. Mike Starmer has been a little dismissive of the Mig Ammo UK colour matches but it looks fine from where I'm sitting

Added a dark wash last night.
The only photo I have seen of this setup was taken at what looks like a war college demo so it's very clean so I think this is as far as I will take the weathering.
