A small technical point: T-34 turrets, both T-34-85 and T-34-76 (other than the stamped "formochka" turrets) were one piece hollow castings. So no big bit being welded to a smaller bit.
Enjoying the build though.

Need 1/16th T-34-76 Wheels!!
OK, was that title desperate sounding enough? I'm looking for some of the pressed steel wheels from Trumpeter's T-34-76, the one with the large hatch "flat" turret. I don't need a full set, just one or two would be nice. I'm willing to trade for some of my "corrected" internally dampened wheel...

Re: T-34 with cast prototype T-34M Kulebaka foundry
Hey, Scott, that's sort'a what the whole "paper panzer" thing implies, i.e.; a conceptual design never actually produced. :D I know you realize that and I get what you're saying about the implied "reality" of the subject (though of the very tiny handful of such subjects I can't recall many who have ...

Re: T-34 with cast prototype T-34M Kulebaka foundry
Interesting subject for sure. The strange thing is I can't recall ever seeing photos of anything but a wooden mock-up of that particular turret and I'm kind'a skeptical of any actually being fielded. Not impossible I suppose but it'd be nice to see the photo that "unidentified unit, Eastern front in...

Re: Site address
Not wishing to complicate things further but (I will  ) even the name Plastic Armour is problematic. Do a Google search. You'll even up with everything BUT this site. If you want folks to be able to find us a name change may well be necessary. (That and reduce Shaun the Sheep, he just don't fit...

Re: DML's OT-34 The Continuing Saga
Thanks Justin, I was going to talk about my adventures in these new fangled painting techniques in my next post. For me at least (being twenty years behind everyone else in the use of acrylics and all) it was something of an eye opener. And Greg, glad I helped you out before the fact this time. :P I...

Molte belle.
Oh, and for the fuel lines yellow or unpainted should do nicely.
